Submit your contribution to CONVERSATIONS 2026 in the Easychair conference management system. All submissions should be in pdf format. Full and short papers should be anonymized for double blind peer review.
We accept the following submission categories:
- Full papers (12-16 pages) presenting new knowledge from research involving empirical studies, theoretical contributions, or innovative implementations. Submissions in this category should be anonymized.
- Short papers (6-8 pages) presenting preliminary research results from emprical studies or innovative implementations. Submissions in this category should be anonymized.
- Position papers and project presentations: Brief presentations (3-6 pages) of ongoing projects, work in progress, or perspectives on chatbot research and practice. Submissions in this category should not be anonymized.
- Doctoral consortium extended abstracts: Submissions (3-6 pages) to the research escalator sessions of the doctoral consortium (November 23, for PhD students and early phase researchers) to discuss and receive feedback on ongoing or planned work, to develop it towards a conference or journal submission. Submissions should be extended abstracts of the work, outline motivation, research question, theoretical framework, methodology, and questions by the doctoral candidate.
Full and short papers will undergo a thorough double blind review process involving three independent reviewers. Position papers and project presentations will undergo single blind review. Doctoral consortium extended abstracts are assessed by a jury.
Authors should consult Springer’s authors’ guidelines and use the relevant proceedings templates, either for LaTeX (zip-file) or for Word (zip-file), for the preparation of their papers. Authors should also ensure to familiarize themselves with Springer Editorial Policies and Authors’ Code of Conduct.
