CONVERSATIONS 2026 marks the 10th anniversary of this series. We started out in 2017 as a workshop on chatbot reserach and design at the international conference Internet Science in 2017. Since 2019, CONVERSATIONS has been organized as an independent two-day workshop. And since 2024, the scope of conversations expanded to chatbots and human-centred AI.
Since last year we have invited to CONVERSATIONS as an international symposium on chatbots and human-centred AI. The change from workshop to symposium reflected the ever increasing quality and engagement in papers and presentations that we have witnessed at CONVERSATIONS over the years.
